Part of a collection of florals painted in the stillness of the evening. These aren't perfectly from life so much as impressions of the bouquets in jars on my desk and dried on the wall. The low light in the studio leans toward blues and purples and simplifies contrast, inspiring shapes that move into abstraction. Soft around the edges and caught between observation and invention, my hope is that this work feels easy and familiar in a way, like a piece you’ve you’ve always had in your home.
My work is thoughtful, grounded and lasting. The time and care behind my process is reflected in the textures, surface, and small variations that come from working by hand. Ideal for collectors who value artwork made with intention.
