ORDERS & SHIPPING:

There are a number of shipping restrictions at the time. Please refer to this blog post for more information: Shipping Updates

- Please double-check sizes before ordering. If you have questions, I’m very glad to help, and respond to messages quickly.

- All original artwork ships fully insured. You will receive a tracking number upon shipping.

- All purchases over $500 CAD require a signature on delivery to ensure your artwork arrives safely. If you would like to have a signed delivery for purchases under this amount, or if you would like to waive the signature, please contact me immediately after completing your transaction.

- Packaging matches the size of the piece: works on paper under 9x12 inches ship in a rigid mailer and are wrapped in glassine and protective padding; larger pieces on paper, as well as all works on canvas and cradled panel, are carefully packed in sturdy boxes to ensure safe delivery.

- Buyers are responsible for any import duties or taxes. Delivery times vary by location.

- Oil paintings have depth and texture that’s difficult to fully capture on screen. Colors are shown as accurately as possible, but may vary by device. If you have a specific color question please don't hesitate to message me.

- There are several ways to display oil paintings depending on the look you prefer. I’m always happy to offer guidance, or you can consult your local framer for options that suit your space.

- All materials used in this painting are archival and proper care is important to keep it looking its best. By purchasing this piece, you acknowledge responsibility for keeping it in a stable environment, away from direct sunlight, moisture, high humidity, and extreme temperature changes.

RETURNS

Returns are accepted on physical items only. Returns must be initiated within 10 days of the paintings arrival. If you’d like to start a return, please contact me as soon as possible. If the packaging was damaged in shipping please photograph before and after opening. Returns must be packaged appropriately for safe travel, and shipping must be insured - these will be at the buyers expense.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase, provided the item has not yet been shipped. Once a piece has shipped, it can no longer be cancelled.

Gift Cards

Gift cards are refundable under special circumstances, cannot be redeemed for cash, and do not expire. If you experience any issues accessing digital content, please get in touch promptly so it can be resolved.

Digital Products and Licensing

Digital downloads, including but not limited to licenses, are non-refundable. Licensed artwork is managed through an additional contract that outlines certain prices and terms. If you are interested in licensing please contact the studio directly.

COPYRIGHT AND USE OF CONTENT

All artwork, text, images, etc. on this website remain the intellectual property of Laura Knowles and Laura Knowles Art. Purchasing a piece does not grant reproduction rights in any way. No image or artwork may be copied, printed or reproduced without prior written permission.

While collectors are free to resell original artworks they have purchased, the artist requests that resales be conducted transparently and with credit to Laura Knowles Art. Misrepresentation of the work’s origin, condition or value is prohibited.
