The last week of January

Does anyone else feel like this month has been a year long? Things have been fairly busy in the studio. I’ve sold seven paintings over the month, started a class/mentorship with an artist I really admire, had a milestone birthday, endured what’s felt like a month of -50C (which honestly, I sort of love), released a new collection, and of course - did a lot of drawing and painting!

I’m looking forward to what this year has in store: I’d like to get some prints going, I’m slowly but surely developing a collection on linen and cradled panel, and I have plans to upscale the size of my paintings. Plus - I’m really looking forward to devoting every warm bit of the year to plein air painting - only a few more months until we get there!

That’s probably enough for now, so I’ll leave you with a few photos of the last week in the studio :)

Until next time,

Laura

P.S. There won’t be a February release, but March is going to be lovely!
