October 2026
Good morning,
I hope you're well! After a gorgeous summer filled with family, gardening, sketchbooks and lounging, I'm happy to report that I'm filling my days with painting and painting related activities.
I was so inspired during our latest lake trip and spent most of the time sketching the last flush of green leaves (everything is golden and falling at the moment). These sketches have been very useful (and beautiful) references for a series of paintings that I'll share with you soon!
While we wait for those to dry, I have 6 finished pieces ready for you this week!
These were completed over the summer, and shaped by meandering walks through our neighbourhood as I delighted in everyone's newly blossoming gardens.
On Wednesday Oct. 7 at 9am CST these paintings will be available to newsletter subscribers first. Each piece is 8×10, oil on rigid paper panel, for $215 CAD.
As always, thank you for being here! Your support means the world, whether you're a one time buyer, regular collector, or an admirer - I appreciate each of you.
Have a wonderful start to your week!
Laura
